1. A memory unit with 4096 words of 16 bits each
2.Nine registers : AR, PC, DR, AC, IR, TR, OUTR, INPR, SC
3.Seven flipflps : I, S, E, R, IEN, FGI, FGO
4.Two decoders : a 3 X 8 operation decoder and a 4 X 16 timing decoder
5. 16 bit common bus
6.control logic gates
7. adder and logic circuit connected to the input of AC
This was my assignment for CSC 232 course in my University (North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh). It took almost 1 week to complete the diagram. I did search net a lot for additional resource (perhaps the readymade diagram that I could submit) but no luck. So I’m uploading it here so that next time someone searches for same thing doesn’t end up like me…
The whole thing is done in Photoshop and Photoshop only. I know there is a lot of circuit makers now a days but I personally favor Photoshop. It lets me work “liberally”. Anyway I have used some Photoshop brushes for logic circuits which I made by myself. Anyone interested in the brushes or the .psd file can request me here and I will think about it….
